The gardens at Lords of the Manor are a much-loved aspect of the daily life of the hotel. Surrounding our 17th century Manor House, a sequence of garden areas offer relaxation and calm – and also a steady supply of fruit and herbs for the kitchen and bar.  Head Gardener Mike is kept busy managing everything from a bog garden to a rather summery lawn.

In response to demand, we’ve decided to set up a regular ‘Last Tuesday of the Month’ Garden Tour with our Head Gardener.  You can expect an interesting hour full of tips and ideas and, when the timing seems right, perhaps a few seeds or cuttings.

Tours begin at 2pm, with tickets at £25, to include a Cream Tea after your tour.

Dates of our 2026 Garden Tours are as follows:

March 31st, April 28th, May 26th, June 30th, July 28th, August 25th, September 29th

Booking in advance is essential.
