Our highly acclaimed food is perfectly complemented by the selections and knowledge graciously provided by our Sommelier. Recommending the perfect food and wine pairings, your meal will be completed with flavour profiles sourced from around the world.
From French favourites and luxurious bottles to fresh tastes from multiple countries of origin, our 17th-century cellar is stocked with only the very best wines that we are ready to decanter. Should you wish to view our historic cellar, our Sommelier is more than happy to offer a tour.
As a fine dining Cotswolds restaurant, you can be assured that while we are experimental with some of our offering, the backbone of our wine list is Bordeaux, Rhone, Piedmonte and Tuscany based.
Wines range from £25 to £1,900 (a Château Latour), with prices sensibly geared towards the lower end of that scale. Lords of the Manor’s status as an independently-owned hotel allows us to be proactive in purchasing wine from smaller, high-quality producers.
Once seated at our fine dining Cotswold restaurant, you will discover that all budgets and tastes are catered for – our guest’s satisfaction is our priority, rather than simply building a library of expensive wine. For example, special attention is paid to half bottles, as it often happens that two diners may prefer to have different wines through the course of dinner. We also source different vintages from the same producer in order to ensure a range of prices across a particular wine.
