This stunning Capability Brown designed garden has plenty of stories to tell, and plenty of places to explore. Though dogs have to remain on leads in the formal gardens, there is plenty of open parkland that they can explore off lead. If you want to make the most of the dog friendly areas of Croome Park, then take a look at this brilliant trail laid out by the National Trust. The route will take you past the Rotunda, a classically Georgian ha-ha, RAF Defford, as well as many other interesting sights.
Chipping Campden Trail
Chipping Campden is a quintessentially charming Cotswolds town. Filled with the archetypal sandstone cottages. a plethora of superb local and independent shops and surrounded by rolling English countryside, Chipping Campden is the perfect place for you and your pooch to take a leisurely Sunday stroll. National Trails offer a delightful 4½ mile route through and around the town, which will take you through shaded woodlands; across rolling hills with stunning views; and into the quaint town of Chipping Campden itself. Another wonderfully picturesque and undemanding route to try, is this Nation Trails walk through the village of Broadway and up to the ancient tower that overlooks the village. The impressive structure of the Broadway Tower commands breath taking views out over the Severn Vale and into Wales. This walk is 4 miles of delightful scenery and plenty of places for your pooch to romp freely. The tower truly is the showpiece, and definitely worth a visit.
