Saturday is the New Sunday… so take Luncheon like a Lord!
Due to demand, Executive Chef Richard Picard-Edwards and his team are delighted to offer Saturday lunches at the Lords of the Manor’s popular restaurant.
The menu sets out to achieve two things; to be as exciting and yet relaxed as a great lunch should be – and to offer the chance to have the Michelin Lords of the Manor Restaurant experience for under £40.
‘Experience’ is rather an overused word these days but Michael Obray, the hotel’s General Manager emphasises that Saturday Lunch at Lords is all about enjoying everything from the sense of arrival in Upper Slaughter (a timeless Cotswold village), the 8 acres of gardens at the hotel and, not least, the creative talents of the Michelin starred kitchen. “We always encourage lunch guests to take an hour or two to enjoy the gardens which are under the guidance of seven times Chelsea Flower Show medal winner Julie Toll. Combine all this with our new menu and attentive service and Saturdays begin to look rather memorable.”
The finest lunch around adds a little luxury to a day that can be extended with a visit to nearby attractions such as Hidcote Manor, Bourton House or Sudeley Castle – a true Cotswold experience (that word again).
Are Saturdays looking more exciting after reading this? We think so!
PS… If you book your lunch for any Saturday in April or May 2016 you will receive a complimentary glass of fizz to start or a soft drink for the younger members of the family.
