We look forward to welcoming you to the Lords of the Manor this Christmas.


CHRISTMAS EVE - SATURDAY 24TH DECEMBER 2011

A warm welcome – your room will be ready from 2.00pm . Once you've settled in please join us for a splendid afternoon tea which will be served up in the drawing room and lounges until 5.00pm with the warming crackle of our roaring log fires.

6.00pm A little fa-la-lah is the order of the evening as we are joined by local Carol
Singers striking a tune whilst you enjoy a glass of festive fizz before dinner.
   
6.30pm With a strike of a gong a magnificent three course dinner is served, prepared by Executive Chef Matt Weedon and his Michelin starred brigade
of chefs.
   
11.30 pm You are invited to celebrate Midnight Mass held in the beautiful in church of
St. Peter's, Upper Slaughter, just a 2 minutes stroll from Lords, returning
for mince pies, hot chocolate with Grand Marnier and marshmallows
served in the candlelit Drawing Room.


CHRISTMAS DAY - SUNDAY, 25TH DECEMBER 2011

Start with a traditional English breakfast served in our Michelin Star Restaurant or in your room. Gather for Champagne and canapés prior to a most traditional and delicious Christmas Day Lunch. A Festive Buffet is served in the Restaurant and join in some gentle competition in the evening.

8.00am - 9.30am A traditional English breakfast is served in the Restaurant or in your room, amongst a deluge of wrapping paper, and afterwards, perhaps relax in one of the lounges, explore the village, one of the most beautiful and unspoilt in England, or stretch your legs around the gardens – always a delight whatever the time of year.
   
11.45am Gather for Champagne and canapés prior to a most traditional and delicious Christmas Day Lunch.

some gentle competition – our interpretation of the Antiques Roadshow. All
will be revealed on the night!


BOXING DAY - MONDAY, 26TH DECEMBER 2011

A traditional English breakfast will be served either in the Restaurant or in the comfort of your room. The day is yours to relax and enjoy and Lords of the Manor is the perfect haven for those who just want to sink into a large sofa with a drink and a good book.

8.00am - 9.30am A traditional English breakfast will be served either in the Restaurant or in the comfort of your room. The day is yours to relax and enjoy and Lords of the Manor is the perfect haven for those who just want to sink into a large sofa with a drink and a good book. However, the glorious scenery and picture postcard villages of the Cotswolds are right on the doorstep. Less than 30 minutes' drive brings you to the village of Bibury, a popular film location, and home to the annual Boxing Day Duck Race which starts at 11am.
Allow plenty of time to prepare for the evening's entertainment and enjoy a drink or two in the bar.
   
7.30pm A spectacular Gala Dinner is served followed by our own Casino Royale.
Gentlemen: please wear black tie. Ladies: you know best!


TUESDAY, 27TH DECEMBER 2011

A traditional breakfast is served either in the Restaurant or the comfort of your room. Whilst many of you will be getting ready to depart we invite you to linger and join the traditional spectacle of The Dummer Beagles & their annual meet on the front lawn of the hotel at mid-day.

8.00am - 9.30am A traditional English breakfast will be served either in the Restaurant or in the comfort of your room.
   
12 noon Whilst many of you will be getting ready to depart we invite you to linger and jjoin the traditional spectacle of The Dummer Beagles & their annual meet on the front lawn of the hotel at mid-day.
Mince Pies and Port will be served.

All prices are quoted per person for the three night stay, all meals and beverages as detailed in our Christmas package and VAT at 20%. Please note that we add a 10% discretionary service charge to your final extras account.

We respectfully request a 50% non refundable deposit at the time of booking, and full prepayment by 1st December 2011.
