Garden Tours and Luncheons in 2017
All in a Cotswold Country Garden
Tour with the Head Gardener and special Lunch held monthly.
£25.00 per person
In 2017, we celebrate the completion of our new herb garden, a delightful new feature of our walled garden. It’s a welcome addition to our gardens which, rather like our menus, change with the seasons.
Spring and summer see the meadow coming to life with orchids, meadow buttercups and a variety of wild flowers enticing the butterflies and insects. Later in the summer the lavenders flower, another magnet for the butterflies and bees. Early autumn is harvest time for our vintage apples and espaliered pears. Autumn proper is the usual feast of colour whilst summer stalks and seed-heads and ornamental grasses stand through the winter with their silver or gold frosts.
First Tour of 2017: Friday 7th April
